Limited Edition Giclee

Artist: Anthony R. Gartmond mesmerizes with both his graphite pencil drawings and his limited edition giclee reproductions.

Born in Newark, NJ and raised in neighboring East Orange, this New Jersey-based artist is also a New Jersey licensed attorney whose elders steered away from art as a livelihood at a very earlier age. Never giving up on his passion completely, however, Anthony, educated at Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School, envisioned a time in the future when he would resume his active pursuit of an art career. That opportunity came in 2013 when Anthony retired as an assistant prosecutor following 25 years of service. Soon thereafter, formal training began at the Arts Council of Princeton, and the result, to this date, is a vast collection of rich, detailed pencil drawings and giclees often depicting lush combinations of elegance and sensuality, but ranging as well to significant jazz pieces recently exhibited in Newark, NJ at WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM, America’s leading jazz radio station.
