Martial Arts
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form flled with tradition
and history. It combines music, athletic movements and
martial arts. Capoeira was originally practiced by African
slaves who were shipped to Brazil by the Portuguese.
The traditional martial arts movements were set to music
and disguised to look like a dance. Capoeira is one of the
fastest growing martial arts in the world today, but more
than that, it is a social event.
