CASA – or Court Appointed Special Advocates – is recruiting participants for Team CASA at the Baltimore Running Festival in October. The organization speaks up for abused and neglected children to ensure they reach safe, permanent homes.
Race participants can run or walk in the Baltimore full marathon, half marathon, 5k or team relay. Runners will be asked to solicit sponsors, where all proceeds will support efforts to recruit more volunteers to serve as advocates. Prizes will be given to the biggest fundraisers.
