Angela Burns, Mother Of NY Giants Linebacker Brian Burns, Never Misses A Moment At The Game

We spoke to Angela Burns about the pride she feels watching her son Brian Burns on the field and her secret weapon to not missing a single moment.
The 2026-2027 NFL season kicked off this week, which means football lovers around the world will be glued to their screens or in the stands repping their favorite teams for months to come. For football mom Angela Burns, it’s the latter. As the mom of NY Giants lineman Brian Burns, she can be spotted shouting from the risers when her son makes a powerful sack and does his celebratory “Spiderman” dance.
“His celebrations just sends me over the top,” says the proud mom, who admits she doesn’t know too much about football, but adores watching her son ground his opponent then hit his signature poses. “I’m just waiting for that move he does. That sends me over the top. And to feel proud when I see him do something that I know he loves. When he sacks somebody, that’s the most you’re gonna see Brian get excited because he’s an introvert, so he’s quiet most of the time, and when he sacks someone, it just does my heart good.”
And Ms. Angela can bank on not having to take her eyes off the game because she feels secure in Always Discreet (read: she’s not worried about bladder leaks). According to HopkinsMedicine.com, “This condition can occur at any age, but it is more common in women over the age of 50.”
While it cane be a taboo subject, Ms. Angela revealed she’s making a difference by sharing her story. “Since I joined the campaign, I’ve had, women reach out to me, maybe a few NFL moms, but more so, friends and family that’s seen the ads, you know, and seen me do it on social media, and they couldn’t believe… they didn’t know anything about it.” They exchanged horror stories and at the end of it, Ms. Angela was able to share how well the product works for her.
“They will be protected, and it’s good. It’s a good product, it’s a very good product,” she said. While her son doesn’t exactly know what Discreets are, “He said to me, Mommy, you still got one of those things?” He is supportive. “I’m like, I really don’t want to explain this to you, you know? I said, watch the commercial.”
