Tati Dior is turning relationship regret into a resonant R&B release.
The Houston-raised, Atlanta-based singer-songwriter has released “Regret,” a new single that tackles the messy reality of moving on from a problematic partnership.
“Hate to say I regret you, but it’s true,” she sings on the hook. “While I was giving you my best, you just left me with regrets.”
She’s also teasing the song with a retro-style music video and a limited series on YouTube.
“Some chapters you live. Some you survive. And some you finally get brave enough to tell,” she says about the single.
“Regret” also marks the latest chapter for the independent artist who has been developing her sound for years, and follows her previous release, “Lil Toxic.”
